All information about you held in this practice is kept in confidence because we value your privacy. All patients’ records are kept confidential. With the introduction of the Privacy Act Amendment (2000) we remain committed to protecting your privacy. The information from the patients will not be disclosed to any other person without the consent of the patient except in circumstances where the information could cause danger to the patient or others and for medico legal purpose.
Patients will be asked to sign a consent form to allow those involved in your healthcare, access to the information necessary to continue the high standard of health service patients expect of us. (This includes Pathology, Radiology, Specialists, Allied Health etc.)
Emergency appointments are made on the same day by calling the practice.
All appointments are to be kept promptly. A fee of $50 will be incurred for non-appearance without cancellation at least 4 hours before the appointment. Please call the reception if there are any emergency reasons.
We consider your participation in health monitoring to be an essential part of your health care. We operate an extensive reminder system designed to ensure the opportunity of attendance. We use SMS message, phone call or letters for the reminder and recalls. You may opt your preferred method of recalls.
Patients are advised to make a follow up appointment to discuss all blood test and imaging results. If there is any abnormality in the test results, reception staff will contact you either by telephone, SMS or by letter to make urgent/non urgent appointment with doctor to discuss the results. The administration and nursing staff do not have the authority to release the details of your results. They can only notify you if these results are normal or abnormal.

We welcome your feedback to improve our care and rectify any shortcomings. We take your complaints seriously. We believe all problems are best dealt with through the practice.
